1. Material Research - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Important note, since the Dragon code deployment, sorting of queue times in the Science & Technology window seems a bit broken. Normally when you choose Material Research on a print and the window pops up and prompts you to choose what Installati...

2. Instas for those annoying tiny Amarr gates - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I found a great link once to a page about instas with diagrams with different size gates with circles drawn around them and activatible range drawn around that, and I can't seem to find it now. I am laying down some instas to help hauling in mine...

3. Job queueing rapidly growing - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I'm putting some ammo prints through material research (no pressing reason, just to complete a set....really don't *need* medium hybrid ammo prints) I've watched the queue times for all the labs in my region climb daily. People are piling job on ...

4. POS REFINERY or in other words get people into 0.0 - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Is this the case? Everyone says us noobs need to get into 0.0....but when we get there, the facilities are crap?

5. Time Efficiency Research - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I actually just empirically added time research 1 to a print over and over and the gains diminish very much like material research. Beyond PE5 it slowed down, beyond PE10 it was at a crawl, as far as how much difference another level gave. I give...

6. Station contianer BPO and packaging (and secure can packaging) - in Science and Industry [original thread]
it is kind of ridiculous that in every station you can buy about any kind of container, but even in the middle of safe empire there are only about a handful of safe stations to buy giants. They should be in every station like other containers, may...

7. Material Research bug? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
yeah if you don't have the skill that lets you maintain jobs at a distance (Scientific Networking I think) then if you are viewing a lot of different labs in the interface, if you want to use one you have to be in range. If you lack the skill, you...

8. Question on Making BPCs - in Science and Industry [original thread]
It's (I believe) a matter of how much your lab time costs, how much the delay waiting for the research is worth, how much you are going to save by researching any further. In the absurd example above, where the last half of the research (ME300k t...

9. A stupid question about R&D agent - in Science and Industry [original thread]
they are planning according to dev to revamp R&D to be more than just a wait and see lotto. In the future there very well may be offers for lesser rewards like bpc's and things. It's in dev blog somewhere.

10. Can mining solo, what do you haul back ? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
you can have cans in your hold. Since giants take up 3,000 and hold 3,900 they are a popular way of extending hauling capacity...except for organic cargos like passengers and food, which cannot be placed in containers. Shifting the mins from anch...

11. Simple and complex reactions chart (PDF File) - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Nifty chart! I tried snapshotting half the page, negative, greyscale, and printing with as good quality as possible but couldn't get all the little fiddly names to be legible. Not a bad document to save a copy of and just surf with acrobat viewer.

12. Standing to R&D-agents - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Yeah I just finished limping a cruddy level III agent out in The Forge for Core Complexion so I could get to 4.85 and switch to a manufacturing agent in Arlek, a lot closer to home. On consolation prize is that the Tuuriainas agent just rolled int...

13. Scrapmetal Processing and standing - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Thanks for the info. Hardly seems like it should be that way though, the game is so focussed on the highest of personal, corp or racial standing, that my actual personal standing with RSS is not even listed on the corp info window Standings tab. ...

14. Scrapmetal Processing and standing - in Science and Industry [original thread]

16. "Incremental" (non-real-time) Mining Ops - in Science and Industry [original thread]

17. How do you sell corpses - in Science and Industry [original thread]

18. Research is FUBAR, I've lost my mind... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
your blueprint wastage = original print wastage/(ME+1) so it's pretty easy to see that dividing the typical original print wastage by 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on is going to make a lot more difference than dividing by 1107, 1108, 1109... At really high ...

19. Research is FUBAR, I've lost my mind... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Actually if you play with it, blueprint wastage becomes essentially zero when your ME is at or over 1/10 of the highest resource number. So if the largest mineral number on your Inferno Torp print uses 3590 trit, then ME359 would have no blueprint...
